FLASH

Your face flashed before me today,
Your memory took my breath away.
You were so young and full of glee,
A wonderful friend to many you see.

Your golden curls and waves galore
But, you consisted of so much more.
Your inner beauty was pure grace,
That beautiful smile upon your face.

Kindness always came from you,
Delightful and honest through and through.
You always gave your very best,
Nothing more, nothing less.

You taught us much while you were here,
And though you're gone, you are, still near.
So close and dear to our heart,
It hurt so much when you did part.

It's oh so true, the best He takes,
We carry on, with the ache.
We're grateful for the time we had
For this, I am so truly glad.

An angel now, that you are
Gracing the heavens as a star.
So until we do meet again,

Forever, and always,
You'll be my friend.

In memory of

So sad, so young. Was she one of your students?

Cindy was our neighbor and one of Sara's childhood friends. She was killed in a bad car acident on the way to school. A father of two ran the yeild sign on Plain & Mayville Rd. he eventually passed away too. She was in 8th grade, a wonderful athlete and just a wonderful girl through and through, it was horrible. Her mother Deb,so kind was so worried about her circle of friends came to visit them all at anothers friends home that night as they were all staying the night. We were all blessed by her friendship and her energy of life itself, we were fortunate that the driver and another passenger (mother & daughter)were not killed also.

Aw! Mom this is absolutley wonderful, even though it made me cry. I think I may have to forward this to Megan. I do think Debbie would enjoy this as well, maybe we should make this up and frame it or something.
